Rock Bottom Entertainment

Rock Bottom Entertainment is an independent Hip-Hop record label based in Detroit, Michigan. It was founded in June 1997 by Rafael "Rock" Howard.^[1] The label has released several albums and promoted local artists within the Detroit hip-hop scene.

Rock Bottom Entertainment debuted its first studio album, From The Bottom Up, ^[2] in 1997, which received local support and set the foundation for the label’s growth.

In 1999, they released Welcome To Alligator City, ^[2] introducing new artists and expanding the label's roster of Detroit-based talent.

In 2002, Who Is Rock Bottom? ^[3] was released by the label, expanding its reach to Michigan.

In 2005, the album Blow: Based on True Stories ^[4] was released, marking the final group project featuring all members.

Their single, "No", received airplay on Detroit urban radio stations and is considered the label's most successful single.
