Raymondville Independent School District is a public school district based in Raymondville, Texas, United States.
In addition to Raymondville, the district serves the census-designated places of Ranchette Estates and Los Angeles Subdivision.[2]
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[3]
History
Previously RISD took high school students from the Lasara Independent School District.[4] Lasara ISD eventually received a high school, with 2011 being the year of the first graduation.[5]
