Raven (Macedonian: Равен, Albanian: Raven) is a village in the municipality of Gostivar, North Macedonia.
History
Raven is attested in the 1467/68 Ottoman tax registry (defter) for the Nahiyah of Kalkandelen. The village had a total of 32 Christian households, 2 widows and 2 bachelors.[1][2]
Demographics
As of the 2021 census, Raven had 1,116 residents with the following ethnic composition:[3]

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 1615 inhabitants.[4] Ethnic groups in the village include:[4]

According to the 1942 Albanian census, Raven was inhabited by 726 Muslim Albanians.[5]
