Quest, also known as Quest - Hire a Hero, is a Singapore-based mobile application startup founded in 2021. It operates as an AI-powered platform designed to connect users to facilitate the completion of a wide range of tasks. These tasks range from everyday errands and gig jobs to more specialised creative and professional services such as social media content creation.[1]

History

Quest was founded as a startup in June 2021, by three SMU graduates Evan Chow (CEO), Matthew Wu (CPO) and Craig Choy (CTO).[2] The original aim was to utilise AI to create more opportunities for the gig economy and local employment.[3]

As of April 2025, Quest has reportedly established a user base of 450,000 in Singapor, Philippines and the United States, with more than 80,000 quests being posted.[4] The platform is one of the largest digital marketplaces in the Singapore local market.[5][6]
