- 1906 - Gustava Kahler, née Aigner was born in Salzburg, Austria.
- 2015 - Federico Fanti and others reconstructed the environment and taphonomic history of the Tataouinea type specimen, which they concluded to be the descendant of a rapid adaptive radiation of diplodocoids that survived the end-Jurassic extinction in South America.
