The Open Education Portal

Introduction

Open Education is an educational movement that is founded on openness.^[1]Open Educators use open educational resources (OER) and follow open education practices to make education more accessible, especially where the money for learning materials is scarce.^[2]. Openly licensed education resources (course materials, lesson plans, textbooks, games, software, etc) that support teaching and learning are used to broaden access to education.
