PFA Odin Sarawak Futsal Club is a futsal club based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia competing in the Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) Division 2. Established in 2023, the club has quickly made its mark in the national futsal scene despite facing significant challenges.[1][2]
History
In their debut MPFL season in 2023, PFA Odin Sarawak faced formidable opponents. Notably, they suffered heavy defeats against powerhouse teams like Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), losing 3–8 in an away match and 1–11 at home . Despite these setbacks, the team showcased resilience and potential, securing a commendable 5th place finish in the 2023 MPFL Division 2 season.[3]
Beyond the MPFL, PFA Odin Sarawak has demonstrated prowess in youth tournaments. Their Under-16 team clinched second place in the 2024 Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival, matching their performance from 2019 . Additionally, they emerged as champions in the 2022 SAMArindok Futsal AKYBMS tournament held in Kota Samarahan.[4]
