Oji Chukwuemeka Ifeanyichukwu

Oji Chukwuemeka Ifeanyichukwu (born July 28, 1981), also known as "Donoji", is a Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.[1] He has gained recognition both locally and internationally for his contributions across architecture, furniture manufacturing, youth development, and global humanitarian efforts. As a Paul Harris Fellow and active Rotarian, he has spearheaded numerous humanitarian initiatives, particularly in Rwanda.[2][3]

Career

After completing his studies at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State, Ifeanyichukwu began a career in architectural and interior design. He built and furnished office spaces, and in 2009, he founded Dazzle Furniture, a design firm specializing in interior and furniture design. In 2016, he expanded into vocational training by creating Dazzle Carpentry Training, a program that has empowered over 500 youths with carpentry and woodwork skills.

In addition to his design and training ventures, Ifeanyichukwu is a published author of three books. He has also extended his business interests to Rwanda: in 2019, he launched Dazzlet Rwanda, a hospitality and real estate development enterprise.[1]

Philanthropy

Ifeanyichukwu is deeply involved in humanitarian and youth empowerment initiatives, often through Rotary International. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Kigali Virunga (Rwanda). He helped organize the distribution of 5,000 bedkits to children in Rwanda as part of Rotary’s Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW) program.[4][5][6] Through Kobo Invest! and similar efforts, he works to empower rural communities and improve food security by linking small farmers with investment resources.[1]

Awards and recognition

Ifeanyichukwu's service and leadership have been recognized by Rotary and related organizations. In December 2023, he was named the recipient of the Outstanding Rotarian Award by the Rotary Club of Kigali Virunga, a recognition of his contributions as Public Relations Officer and project leader in the club’s humanitarian services.[7] In March 2024, he received Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow award presented by Rotary International President Gordon R. McInally, for his services, particularly citing his role in the SCAW bedkit distribution in Rwanda.[8]
