Treyvion Deronta Echols (born July 12, 2002), also known as Nine Vicious, is an American rapper. He is signed to YSL Records and has released two studio albums, Tumblr Music and For Nothing, both in 2025.
Early life
Treyvion Deronta Echols was born on July 12, 2002, in Athens, Georgia.[1]
Career
Nine Vicious began releasing music professionally in 2024,[1] originally blowing up on SoundCloud with the songs "I Love You" and "I'll Neva."[2] He released his first album, Tumblr Music, on March 31, 2025. On June 6, 2025, he released the EP B4FN, the prelude to his second album For Nothing, which released on July 4, 2025.[3]
Personal life
In June 2025, a 19-year-old girl accused Nine Vicious of trying to date her when she was 16, with him lying about his age and pretending he was 17 when he was 19 or 20.[1]
Influences and artistry
Olivier Lafontant of Pitchfork compared Nine Vicious' mixtape Studio Addict to the early work of Young Thug and Ken Carson.[4]
