The film received support from ITVS,[3][4] Catapult Film Fund,[5] Rooftop Films,[6] JustFilms/Ford Foundation,[7] Film Independent,[8] and deNovo Initiative,[9] Sam Pollard and Jacqueline Glover are among the executive producers.[10]
Release
It had its world premiere at Tribeca Festival on June 9, 2025, where it won Best Documentary Feature.[11][12] It also screened at DC/DOX Film Festival on June 13, 2025,[13][14]
