Namibia Cricket Ground, known as the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground for sponsorship reasons, is a cricket ground under construction in Windhoek, Namibia. It is slated to be the headquarters of cricket in Namibia.[1] The first international matches were played on the ground in March 2025 when Namibia hosted Canada for a five match Twenty20 International (T20I) series.[2][3] In that series, three matches were played on that ground while two matches were abandoned due to rain and wet outfield.
The ground is scheduled to be completed in October 2025. In that same month after its completion, the ground would be commemorated as Cricket Namibia's first official stadium by hosting a one-off T20I match between South Africa and Namibia. The stadium has been developed on a budget of four million USD and is expected to be one of the host grounds for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.[4]
