Mykonos B.C. (alternate spelling: Mykonou) is a Greek professional basketball club that is located in Mykonos and plays in Greek Basketball League.The home of the team is a small indoor hall called Panagiotis Chaniotis Ano Mera Indoor Hall.

History

Mykonos basketball club was founded in 1981, and in 1989 became a member of the Hellenic Basketball Federation.[1] On July 14, 2023, it was announced that Mykonos gained a wild card to compete to the Greek A2 Elite League for the first time in the club's history.[2][3]

On May 8, 2025, Mykonos defeated Neaniki Estia Megaridas for the Final Four of the Greek A2 Elite League that took place at Giannis Bourousis Karditsa New Indoor Arena, and gained the promotion to the Greek Basket League for the first time in the club's history.[4]

Arena

For a long period of time, the club didn't have its own indoor hall in the island of Mykonos and was forced to play their home games to the island of Tinos. Ιν 2020, the new arena in Mykonos called Panagiotis Chaniotis Ano Mera Indoor Hall was opened, and since then, the club gives there its home games.[5][6]
