Monthly Pay Order

The Monthly Pay Order (MPO) is a government salary subvention program in Bangladesh, through which the Government of Bangladesh provides monthly salary to teachers and staff of approved non-government educational institutions.[1] The system is overseen by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) under the authority of the Ministry of Education.[2] MPO covers only the basic portion of Bangladesh's national pay scale.
