Missy Traversi is an American basketball coach and former player. She was head coach of the Army Black Knights women's basketball team from 2021–2025.[1]
Early life and playing career
Traversi grew up in Attleboro, Massachusetts.[2]
She played basketball, swimming, and tennis at Bishop Feehan High School, graduating in 2001.
Coaching career
On March 29, 2021, Traversi was named the eighth women's basketball coach in United States Military Academy history.[3]
After a 25-8 season which included a 14-4 second place finish in the Patriot League, it was announced on May 6, 2025 that Traversi would not be returning as the Black Knights' coach for the 25-26 season.[4]
