Michael Jones was an American politician who served as a member of the Illinois Senate and the Illinois House of Representatives.[1]
Jones was a signatory of the First Illinois Constitutional Convention. He served as a state senator representing Gallatin County in the in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Illinois General Assemblies.[2] He then served as a state representative for Gallatin County in the 8th Illinois General Assembly.[2]
