Michael Clayton Sr. (born March 2, 1973) is an American professional stock car racing driver and former team owner who currently competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 5 Ford for City Garage Motorsports. He also serves as the director of operations for CGM.[1]
Racing career
In 2025, it was revealed that would make his ARCA Menards Series debut at Berlin Raceway, driving the No. 5 Ford for City Garage Motorsports.[2][3][4] After placing nineteenth in the lone practice session, he qualified in nineteenth, but finished in 22nd after running only twelve laps due to mechanical issues.[5][6][7][8]
Team ownership
On January 13, 2023, it was announced that Clayton and former JD Motorsports co-owner Gary Keller would partner with Mike Harmon Racing, which was subsequently renamed to CHK Racing, for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.[9]
Personal life
Clayton is a co-owner of both Disaster Services of Environmental Specialist, LLC, and ServiceMaster by Disaster Relief, disaster relief companies that he co-owns with Gary Keller.[10]
