Melika Mahmutbegović

Melika Mahmutbegović (born 20 April 1959 in Bugojno.[1]) is a Bosnian politician and surgeon. She was Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2015[2] to 2023.

In 1983, she completed her medical studies in Sarajevo.[1] After graduating, she worked as a family doctor and surgeon.[3]

She has been a member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina since April 1992.[1]

In 1998, she was elected as a member of the Assembly of the Central Bosnia Canton.[1] In 2002 general elections, she was elected as a member of the House of Representatives of Parliament. In 2010 she was re-elected to the House of Representatives. She is a member of SDA BiH.[1]

Mahmutbegović was Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from February 2015 to February 2023.
