Meidi Dadao Station (Chinese: 美的大道站; pinyin: Měidì Dàdào Zhàn; Jyutping: mei5dik1 daai6dou6 zaam6; lit. 'Midea Avenue Station') is a station of Guangzhou Metro Line 7, located underground on the intersection of Yifeng Road and Midea Avenue in Foshan's Shunde District.[1] The station was opened on 1 May 2022, with the opening of the western extension of Line 7,[2][3] and is the western terminus of the line.
History
The station was handed over to the '3 Powers' on 21 October 2021, for territorial management and operation of the station and facilities, making it one of the first stations on the western extension of the line to do so.[4]
