Matin Ilhan bin Muhammad Faizal (born 27 June 2003) is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga Portugal 2 club Leixões.
Club career
Early career
Matin started his footballing journey playing in the youth teams of Singapore Premier League clubs Tanjong Pagar United and Lion City Sailors.
Salgueiros
On 26 March 2024, Matin signed with Portuguese club Salgueiros for the remainder of the 2023–24 season. Matin mainly featured in the 'B' team.[1]
Rio Tinto
Matin then made the switch to Rio Tinto ahead of the 2024–25 season.[2] He made a total of 7 appearances for the 'B' team.
Leixões
On 3 June 2025, it was announced that Matin would be joining Leixões for the 2025–26 season. The senior team competes in the Liga Portugal 2.
