Magnús Þór Hafsteinsson

Magnús Þór Hafsteinsson (29 May 1964 – 30 June 2025) was an Icelandic politician active in the Liberal Party (Frjálslyndi flokkurinn).

He also worked as a reporter for the public TV news and was educated in ichthyology.

He died on 30 June 2025, at the age of 61 when the fishing boat that he was on sank off Patreksfjörður.[1]
