M Masrur Reaz

Dr. M Masrur Reaz is a Bangladeshi economist and policy expert who is the Chairman and founder of a Bangladeshi advisory firm 'Policy Exchange Bangladesh' providing economic policy and private sector advisory services.

Dr. Reaz was also worked as a Senior Economist and Program Manager in the investment climate and the Private Sector Development units of The World Bank Group where he served for ten years during 2010-20.

Prior joining The World Bank, Dr. Reaz served as a advisor in the Department for International Development (DFID) of the UKAID. He led several private and financial sector development program for DFID Bangladesh with focus on investment climate, SME development, SME finance, financial infrastructure, privatization, and tax reform.
