Loyola Institute of Technology and Science, Thovalai

Loyola Institute of Technology and Science, Thovalai (LITES) is an engineering college which is situated in Thovalai,[1] Tamil Nadu, India in the foothills of the Western Ghats.[2]

The Loyola Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. I also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and was given a grade of B++ in 2024 and is valid upto 2029.[3] The college was established in 2008 with the approval of AICTE. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam is the alumni of the college.[4]
