Louis Okoye (オコエ 瑠偉, Okoe Rui; born July 21, 1997) // is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).

Career

After the 2017 season, Okoye joined Cañeros de Los Mochis.[1]

Personal life

Okoye's mother is Japanese and his father is Igbo from Nigeria.[2] His younger sister Monica Okoye is a member of the Japan women's national basketball team which won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
