The cargo ship sank in the Bali Sea northeast of Bali, 25 nautical miles (46 km; 29 mi) south of Panjang Island, East Java, Indonesia. Five crew were rescued, and eight reported missing, or 13 were rescued and 8 reported missing.[199][200]
