Lina Heleika (born 6 September 2010) is an Egyptian rhythmic gymnast.[2] She represents Egypt in international competitions. She is the 2025 Junior World silver medalist with ribbon.

Personal life

Her mother, Dina Salem, is a founder of Sofia Gymnastics Club in Dubai, where Lina's family lives.

Career

Junior

At the 2024 African Championships in Kigali, Rwanda, Heleika took gold in team competition, along Alia Ahmed, Iman Abdelhalim and Farida Bahnas, gold with ribbon, silver in the All-Around, with hoop, ball and clubs.[3][4] On December 11-13, she competed at the 2025 Mediterranean Junior Championships in Tunis, Tunisia. She and Farida Bahnas won gold medal in team competition.[5]

In March 2025, she won bronze with ball at the Gymnastik International tournament in Schmiden.[6] In May she took part in the Irina Deleanu Cup with ball and ribbon, being 5th and 10th.[7] In June, she participated in the 3rd Junior World Championships in Sofia, finishing 12th in teams along Bahnas and the junior group, 17th with ball and won a silver medal with ribbon behind Akmaral Yerekesheva.[8][9][10][11]
