Leszno [ˈlɛʂnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barczewo, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 15 km (9 mi) south-east of Barczewo and 26 km (16 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn. It is located in Warmia.[2]
In the past, the village was also called Leszno Wielkie to distinguish it from the nearby settlement of Leszno Małe.[2] In 1857, it had a population of 168.[2]
