Lemany [lɛˈmanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytno, within Szczytno County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 km (3 mi) north-east of Szczytno and 40 km (25 mi) south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
History
The village was founded by Polish settlers by 1414.[2] As of 1602 the population was predominantly Polish.[2]
