Lazar Kaličanin (Serbian Cyrillic: Лазар Каличанин; born 21 May 2004) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serbian club Čukarički.[2]
Club career
Born in Trstenik, Kaličanin begin his career in the OFK Beograd young categories,[3] Later he joined in tho the Čukarički youth academy.[4]
Smederevo
In the beginning of June 2018, Kaličanin signed his first professional contract with Čukarički,[5] where he penned an four-year deal.
On 23 July 2022, Kaličanin was loaned on 18 month loan tho Serbian First League club Smederevo,[6] where he made his first ever seniory, officiall team senior debut.
Čukarički
After the good games in Smederevo and the ending of the loan he comeback tho Čukarički.[7][8]
Kaličanin and one more academy talented goalkeeper Vladan Čarapić, they continues them previous contracts and sign an new deals who are they valid till 2028 and 2027, After that Kaličanin was reassigned to the first team.[9]
On 25 May 2024, Kaličanin made his official debut for Čukarički against Red Star Belgrade in the last round of Serbian SuperLiga play-off Championship round.[10][11]
International career
Kaličanin played for the Serbian national teams at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 levels.
