Lauter (German pronunciation: [ˈlaʊtɐ] ; in its lower course: Winkelbach) is a river of ⓘHesse, Germany. Its source is in the Odenwald near Gadernheim. It passes through Bensheim and flows into the Rhine in Gernsheim.
