LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay (ララ アリーナ トーキョー-ベイ, LaLa-Arīna Tokyo Bay; official stylized as LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan. It is home to the Chiba Jets of the B-League. It has a capacity of 11,000 people.
History
On April 14, 2019, a plan to build an arena that was called "Chiba Jets Dream Arena Project" was announced, marking a construction for a 10,000-person capacity arena being home base to the Chiba Jets.[1]The construction started on February 8th, while the outline plan was released a week prior, on February 2nd, 2022.[2]The construction was finished on April 17, 2024 and was unveiled on May 29, 2024.[3]The opening event, being Mr.Children 2024 arena tour, was held on June 6 and 7, 2024.
