Kurumbapatti is a village in Karur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[1]
Demographics
A village with around 350 homes and 1000 people. mostly depending on agriculture. Sri Bagavathi amman and Sri Muthaalamman temple are best known. It has one high school, and a primary school.

“These cupules could be about 400,000 years old.” Discovered at Balasamudram Kurumbapatti near Palani, the cupules vary in size from 4cm to 15cm in diameter. “Cupules are found all over the world. But they are usually scattered.
