Kruopiai (formerly Russian: Кропи, Polish: Kropie)[1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village was uninhabited.[2] It is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from Labūnava, alongside the Kėdainiai-Babtai road, next to the Nevėžis river.
History
During the 1970s, Kruopiai was merged to Labūnava and became its northern part. Later, some further homesteads were again declared as Kruopiai village.
