'Koren' or 'Koireng', is one of the many languages spoken in Manipur state of Northeastern India by the Koren community. Koren are particularly close to Aimol, Purum and Kharam. The speakers of this language use Meitei language as their second language (L2) according to the Ethnologue.[2]
