Kishoreganj Express (Train No. 781/782) is an intercity train operated by Bangladesh Railways from Dhaka to Kishoreganj. It is a popular fast and luxurious intercity train. On 26 March 2020, it was decided to replace its old rake with the state-of-the-art PT Inca rake, but due to the Corona pandemic, it was delayed and the new rake came into effect from 3 June.

Departs Dhaka (Kamalapur) at 10:30 AM and departs Kishoreganj at 4:00 PM.[1]

Total journey time: 3 hours 40 minutes (Dhaka to Kishoreganj) 3 hours 55 minutes (Kishoreganj to Dhaka).

History

Kishoreganj Express runs on meter gauge railway line. It was inaugurated on 1 December 2013.[2] Earlier, the train was operated on a trial basis on 17 November. Apart from Kishoreganj Express, eleven Sindhur Prabhati and eleven Sindhur Godhuli run on this route.
