Kira Dikhtyar (Russian: Кира Дихтјар; born 1988) is a Russian-born American model and former gymnast. She is the founder of a production company, 90-60-90.[1]

Early life

Kira Dikhtyar was born in 1988 in Moscow, Russia.[2][3] At age nine, she won a gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the 1998 Junior Olympics.[4] Four years later, she had joined Russia's junior national gymnastics team and trained at the Novogorsk Training Center.[4] At fifteen, she was scouted as a model in the Moscow Metro.[4] She later enrolled at Moscow State University to study geopolitics but did not complete her degree.[3]

Career

After beginning modeling at age fifteen, Dikhtyar moved to the United States, where she worked in the modeling industry for over a decade. During this period, she was represented by MC2, an agency founded by Jean-Luc Brunel, and appeared on the cover of publications such as FHM, Playboy, and international editions of L'Officiel.[2][5] She also appeared in the reality television series, The Face, where she had a public dispute with Naomi Campbell.[2]

Dikhtyar has been involved in activism focusing on sexual violence.[6][7] She publicly accused a former oligarch of raping her on Russian state television.[2] She has advocated for raising Russia's age of consent and has supported measures aimed at exposing and prosecuting individuals who exploit minors.[4]

In 2022, Dikhtyar moved back to Russia and founded a new clothing line.[2]
