Kentaro Kudo (工藤 堅太郎, Kudō Kentarō; October 13, 1942 – March 24, 2021) was a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kunohe District, Iwate and graduate of Chuo University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993 as a member of Japan Renewal Party after serving in the Iwate Prefectural Assembly for four terms. In 1996 he lost his seat but was re-elected in 2000. After losing his seat again in 2003, he ran for House of Councillors in 2004 and was elected.
