Kennedy Richards Jr. (born 1987) is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the People's National Movement (PNM).[1] He represented Point Fortin in the House of Representatives from 2020 to 2025.[2]

Career

Before entering politics, Richards was a pilot for Caribbean Airlines.[3] In 2019, he became mayor of Point Fortin at the age of 32.[4] He is councillor for Hollywood in Point Fortin.[5] His father Kennedy Richards Sr. was also a councillor in the area.[6]

In the 2020 Trinidad and Tobago general election, he was elected to parliament.[7] He stood in the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election.[8] He was unseated by Ernesto Kesarof the United National Congress (UNC).[9]
