Katja Gürtler (born 18 May 1989 as Katja Trödthandl) in an Austrian former footballer playing as a midfielder and current head coach of SK Rapid Frauen. She previously played in the Spanish First Division for Valencia CF.[1] Prior to this she had a first spell in the ÖFB-Frauenliga with SV Neulengbach, whom she also represented in the European Cup,[2] and two spells with USC Landhaus. She made her debut for the Austrian national team in September 2006 against the Netherlands.[3]
In 2023 she was appointed the first head coach of the SK Rapid Frauen.[4]
