Kannada News Today is a regional news platform based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India,[1] which has received a Regional Award. It was founded by journalist Satish Raj Goravigere in March 2019,[2] who received the Media Contribution Award in 2024 [3] and the Rajyotsava Honor in 2023.[4][5]
The website publishes news in Kannada language and operates alongside its English-language sister site, Timesnib.[6] In 2025, Satish B Gudagenatti,[7] a former MLA candidate in the 2018 Karnataka Assembly election from Belagavi Rural, [8][9] joined as Senior Editor, [10][11][12][13] and the platform established the Sadhana Awards to recognize contributions by regional journalists.[14][15][16]
