Jules W. Hurst III is an American politician who is currently serving as the acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness at the U.S. Department of Defense.[1][2]

Early life

Hurst is from Virginia.[3] He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary as well as George Washington University.[4][5]

Career

Hurst worked as a defense fellow and policy advisor for Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.[6][7]
