Judwaa is a 2025 Pakistani television series directed by Furqan Adam and written by Fiza Jaffary and Orooj Binte Arsalan.[1] It stars Aina Asif, Sabreen Hisbani, Shahood Alvi, Zhalay Sarhadi, Nadia Hussain, Adnan Raza Mir and Syed Mohammad Ahmed[2] rounding out the ensemble cast.[3]The story revolves around a family torn apart by misunderstandings, exploring themes of separation and the emotional journey towards reconciliation and aired on Hum TV from February 6, 2025 to May 23, 2025.[4][5][6]
Premise
Judwaa is the story of twin girls who share the same face but have contrasting personalities and destinies. One is gentle and reserved, while the other is bold and fearless. As fate weaves unexpected twists, their lives take dramatic turns. Starring Aina Asif in a dual role, this gripping drama explores identity, destiny, and the power of choice.[7][8][9]

Release
The series premiered on February 6, 2025, on Hum TV. The show premiered daily at the Prime time 9:00PM slot until March 1, 2025.[13] The series took a mid-season break for Ramzan, continuing from April 3, 2025 from Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM.[14]

The episodes are released on Hum TV's official YouTube Channel an hour after Live TV Broadcast. Episode 01 garnered over 3.5 million views in its first 24 hours on YouTube alone.
Reception
Episode 01 pulled over 3.5 million viewers on Hum TV's Official YouTube Channel in the first 24 hours of release. Judwaa's first episode was met with a positive response from the audience despite having mixed feelings about the storyline prior to release. The serial marked return of actress Sabreen Hisbanias she had taken a 5-year break from acting in 2019 with her last projects being Gumrah and Parchayee on Hum Network. Hisbani returned in 2024 with signing onto projects for Hum TV, ARY Digital, and Geo Entertainment including Judwaa.[15][16] As of May 25, 2025, Judwaa has surpassed 1.5 Billion views across all platforms. It became the most watched 9:00PM slot show in Hum TV history.[17]
Gulf News calls the series a must watch highlighting gripping story and actors.[18]
