Jordan Emery Pratt is an American appellate judge on the Florida Fifth District Court of Appeal who is a nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.[1]

Education

Pratt graduated as a co-valedictorian of his undergraduate class at the University of Florida, and received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he also served as law review editor and president of the school’s Federalist Society and Christian Legal Society chapters.[2]

Nomination to district court

On June 16, 2025, President Trump announced his intent to nominate Pratt to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. On June 25, 2025, a hearing on his nomination was held before the Senate Judiciary Committee. His nomination is currently pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee.[3]
