John Michael Rave (born December 30, 1997) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Early life
Rave attended Central Catholic High School in Bloomington, Illinois and Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.[1] In 2018, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League and was named a league all-star.[2]
Career
Rave was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the fifth round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[3]
On May 26, 2025, Rave was promoted to the major leagues for the first time, with Cavan Biggio being optioned to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers as the corresponding move.[4]
