    John Howard Goldwyn (born August 10, 1958) is an American film producer.

    Early life

    Goldwyn was born on August 10, 1958, in Los Angeles, California,[1] the son of producer Samuel Goldwyn Jr., and his wife, film and stage actress Jennifer Howard.[2] He has three siblings: actor, director and producer Tony Goldwyn,[3] Francis Goldwyn[4] and Catherine Goldwyn.[5]

    His paternal grandparents were Academy Award-winning producer Samuel Goldwyn and actress Frances Howard.[6] His maternal grandparents were Sidney Howard, screenwriter of Gone with the Wind, and Clare Eames, an actress.[7]

    Career

    Goldwyn was an Executive Producer/Consultant for scripted content at Discovery Channel.[8] While at Discovery, he produced Harley and the Davidsons,[9] and Manhunt: Unabomber, the first installment of Discovery's anthology series about criminal masterminds.[10] In 2017, he signed a first look deal with Lionsgate.[11]

    Goldwyn produced the Hulu miniseries Dopesick, released in October of 2021[12] and the Showtime series Dexter: New Blood, released in 2022.[13]

    Personal life

    Goldwyn married Colleen Camp in 1986 and had one daughter. The couple divorced in 2001.[14] On April 30, 2011, Goldwyn and hotelier Jeffrey Michael Klein celebrated their life partnership in a ceremony in Marshall, California.[15]
