Overview
The Zongheng G700 was firstly introduced in January 2025 along with the G900 and F700.
The G700 utilises a body-on-frame chassis, and adopts a similar style of hybrid drivetrain in the form of Chery’s CDM-O hybrid technology, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, 2-drive direct hybrid transmission, and dual motors for a combined output of 560 kilowatts (750 hp) and 795 N⋅m (586 lb⋅ft; 81 kg⋅m) mated to a 6-manual transmission and 6-speed dual clutch transmission. The engine will meet the updated national VI emission standards. of torque.
It also boasts an 800-volt platform for claimed 6C charging with the supercharged Kirin battery from CATL, which Chery claims can charge from 20-80% in just six minutes. Combined, it has a range of 1,400km, with pure electric range expected to be around 150km.
Chery says the G700 will also utilise the Huawei Qiankun 3.0 ADAS system for urban autonomous driving capability.[1]
