Jawad is a Tehsil[2] and a Nagar Panchayat in Neemuch district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Geography
Jawad is located on 24°36′N 74°51′E / 24.60°N 74.85°E. It has an average elevation of 439 metres (1440 feet). It comes under the Malwa Region on the Malwa Plateau.[3]

As of the 2011 Census of India, Jawad had a population of 17,129. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%.
