Jon Rene Josey (born 1960) is an American lawyer. He served as the United States attorney for the District of South Carolina.

Early life and education

1985 - 1987, law clerk for Charles Weston Houck, United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Career

Admitted to the Bar in 1985.

1987-1991, Associate, Rogers & McBratney, 1991-1993, Partner, Rogers, McBratney & Josey.

1994-1996, sole practice in Florence, SC

1996, recommended by Senator Fritz Hollings to US Attorney for South Carolina, nominated by President Bill Clinton,[1] motion by Senator Strom Thurmond, became the state's US Attorney.

Adjunct Professor, University of South Carolina School of Law 2014, 2015

Joined Turner, Padgett, Graham and Laney, 2001[2]

Honors and recognitions
