Hokum is an upcoming supernatural horror film directed by Damian Mc Carthy and starring Adam Scott.
Premise
An author travels to a remote part of Ireland to spread the ashes of his deceased parents, unaware that his rented accommodation could be haunted.[1]
Cast
Production
The film is written and directed by Damian Mc Carthy. It is produced by Image Nation and Spooky Pictures with producers including Roy Lee and Steven Schneider as well as Derek Dauchy, Ruth Treacy, Julianne Forde and Mairtín de Barra. It has support from Screen Ireland. The cast is led by Adam Scott, and also includes Peter Coonan and David Wilmot.[2]
Principal photography took place in West Cork in Ireland in 2025.[3]
