Hiljaiset Levyt Hiljaiset Levyt is an independent record label from Finland specializing in rock and punk music. Founded in 1985 in Tampere, Finland, the label has played a significant role in promoting underground and alternative music in the country.[1]

History Hiljaiset Levyt was originally established as part of the Hiljainen Kulttuuriyhdistys, a registered cultural association. In 1990, the label transitioned into a limited company, known as Kustannusosakeyhtiö Hiljainen Oy, to support its growing operations. The label was founded by Jukka Junttila,[2] who has remained its driving force since its inception.
