Giselle Lam Wai Sin (Chinese: 林慧倩, born 2 July 1986) is a Hong Kong actress, singer, and host. She made it to the final six in the 2011 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. After participating in the pageant, she mainly worked as an emcee and host for events, and also starred in many Hong Kong and overseas films and TV series. In 2017, she joined Taoxing Network Power (2017-2019) and became an artist under the company. She transformed into a action actor, played the leading role in the action movie "Fighting Goddess" and released her first solo single Bud in the same year.[1]
Summary
Lam was born in Hong Kong to Chinese Indonesian parents. During her secondary school years, Lam attended Leung Shek Chi College. She was active in various extracurricular activities during her school years. She practiced piano, gymnastics, and ballet since she was young. She was also a member of the school choir and track and field team. She was on the track and field team with Hong Kong female cyclist Lee Wai-sze, who was known as the "Niuxia Female Cycling God". She had represented the school on the track and field field many times and won many awards. He then went to the University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia to continue his studies, majoring in public relations, communication and film. After returning to Hong Kong in 2010, she worked as a visual merchandiser at the fashion flagship store Joyce, but being active, outgoing and eager to perform, she wanted to be in front of the screen. With the encouragement of her mother, she participated in the Miss Hong Kong and then entered the entertainment industry.
